Default Boat Trailering

Hi Guys,

I've done a couple of searches, but haven't found a good thread on having a boat trailered/towed from NJ to Fl. It's a 228 mako on a tandem axle (with brakes) trailer.

Any ideas/recommendations of folks who do this sort of thing?

Thanks,
Mike

I just made a trip from SC to MD and back up and down I95. I saw several boats being towed or on flatbed trucks including one with a "boat hauling" company name on the tow vehicle door.

Check the Internet, phone book, and local marinas.

If it's not too big you should be able to tow it yourself if you have a tow vehicle and the time.

Shoot me an email - I'm back and forth to one part of Florida or another now and again.

Go to www.uship.com ... I had a similar need and this was the best way to get it shipped I found. Just be sure to confirm experience and make sure they have insurance!
