Default Crack fiberglass on motor bracket

90 Pursuit twin OMC 200HP. For last year glass has been cracking around top edge, where motors seat. This is a good size swim step or engine bracket. It actually has a planing surface on bottom. Thinking about repower with 4-strokes in future, more weight. A horizontal crack has now developed where swim platform surface meets vertical engine bracket, taking on water now.
Does Pursuit make their own swim step? Or are other manufacturers out there?
Thanks Tom

is it molded in as part of the hull or is it attached with bolts?...if not molded in, you can replace with a number of good after market brackets...if it's molded in...that is a serious problem

Do you have any pics? Are you sure it's a fiberglass crack and not the caulk along the seams? If you hang on the engines does the bracket move or do the cracks change size? If it's bolted on can you see where the bolts come through the transom? Any compression damage around the washers? If you tap the transom on the inside does it sound solid? Re-reading your post: is the crack at the area where the bracket attaches to the boat or is it on the "stern" of the bracket?
