Default Miami Boat Show

You FLorida guys have no idea how good you have it. I went to "The Show" for the first time this year. Now I am ruined. Absolutely the best. I walked my legs off but it was great and I did not even take advantage of the boat rides! I really enjoyed the electronic part where you could talk to the folks that actually know something about the product. Very impressive!

Yes, the Miami Show is the premier show, bar none. Hope you got thru it OK prior to the exhibitors wanting to close up shop.

Boat Guy, I am pretty sold on the basic "stuff", Garmin for chartplotter. Furuno for color scope, Digital for antennas, I like Standard radios. What I enjoyed was talking to folks about the stuff I don't have. How about a forward scanning sonar? That was very cool. Or something I am shopping for, an autopilot. I was all sold on Simrad but than the TR-1 was very impressive (not cheap but very slick). It was actually recommended by one of the Sea Vee guys I talked to.

I went to the Miami Boat show with the purpose of selecting all the electronics for my new 31’ SeaVee. Before the show, an autopilot was not in my budget… After the show , the TR-1 was a must have. That unit is one of the neatest pieces of technology I’ve seen in a while.
