Default What if any differences are in a 2001 23' Key West and a 2003 23' Key West?

Looking for info on a 2001 KW 23' WA. Is it basically the same thing as a 2003 model? Is there anything to look out for with this model?

Thanks

2 additional cleats up front. The "Key West" logo is now the raised type with chrome trim. The boat itself has not changed.

so the 2001 has no wood in it just the same as the 2003 has no wood?

Are there anythings that one would keep an eye out for while looking a 2001 over to purchase? Any faults that you all know of to look out for? What would you think one of these should go for in very good condition?

Correct, no wood. I have not taken any KW's in trade except for a 19'. All my customers have kept 'em. Have you been to Gales Ferry Marina? They're the Key West dealer in CT. I've sold about 6 23's and no problems at all. If you want a 2300CC, I've got my '03 demo boat for sale.

There is one thing I dont like about the 23' Key West. The fold down ladder, located on the port side, when folded down rests on the trim tab. I think they could have done a little better there. Maybe you could put a dive ladder on with a slightly angled bracket to clear the tab?

Lakensea,

What would that 2300 cc go for. I have been looking at boats and the Key West is one that caught my eye. If you would like you can e-mail me at MBruno1057@aol.com

Just a quick note,, My Key West has been flawless,, the boat is solid and they have been retaining thier value over time,, folks seem to keep them.. this family owned business has been able to keep the quality high while increasing production ,and keeping the pricing still affordable for a trailer boat..high quality gel coats and high end fiberglass,,

I'll put my vote in for KW's as well. I have an 02 KW1900 and it's been flawless thru 2 seasons and 200 hours. Very happy with the boat. I'd also like a KW 23 W/A someday.

What do they go for new? I looked at a Parked 23 W/A this weekend- nice boat.
