I was able to sneak out of the office for an hour to check on the progress of my 33 Invincible.
The liner was laid, and the deck was installed. When I arrived, they were installing the hatches. The motors have arrived as well. The steering wheel has been put, as well as the throttle controls, and the SmartCraft Vessel View, which looks REALLY nice.
Danny told me the T-top should be arriving very soon. The boat is coming along quickly and very nicely. The rub rail is going to be installed soon as well.
Boat should be splashed at the beginning of October, even possibly by the end of this month.
When I get home tonight I will post the few pictures I took
Jags, c'mon man, my boat is a little bit less complicated.. only a little bit.
Let me know when you're in town. I realized yesterday that Mirage is literally across the street. But I remember you said they are moving to the River, which is a good move. Let me know when you're at the boat next time.
Sorry fishcop lol. I'm going to swing by today. The boat is equipped with aluminum fuel tanks. To be honest, I have a fiberglass tank in my Cabo, and it is my understanding that you want fiberglass tanks in big boats. Why does everyone fear the 'glass tanks in these CC?

I think the big scare is the ethanol fuel that is everywhere now. Even though it appears to only be an issue with older boats and the older resin used in the fiberglass of those boats, I think it comes down to piece of mind. I believe Invincible uses powder coated or epoxy coated aluminum tanks to address the corrosion issues with aluminum giving you the best of both worlds.
