Trim-Tilt Fuse for 1999 Volvo 5.7 Gsi

The trim and tilt on my 1999 Volvo 5.7 Gsi suddenly stopped working. Nothing happens when the switches are operated. The Clymer, SELOC, and Volvo manuals state that there is a fuse box on the port side of the engine sternwards, but all that's on mine is the ignition module. I can't find a fuse box anywhere, and the fuses under the dash panel are all OK.

Does anyone know where the fuse for the T & T is located? Any other ideas as to what's wrong?

I have a 1998 5.0 Gi and there is a harness at the transom hear the tilt motor. There are two relay switches in there as well as another fuse.

Dear Capt. Dan,

Using your guidance, I found the fuse (10 amp) and two Hella relays. I sprayed the contacts and sockets with Radio Shack contact cleaner, and I found and sprayed all the take-apart connectors I could find in the stern with the contact cleaner.

The trim and tilt now works. Many thanks!

Good deal, mine continues to give me intermittent problems, I'll shoot it with some contact cleaner as well. Best of luck.
