I am looking to purchase a 2004 Parker 2320 DV Sportcabin as follows:
250 HPDI, transom mount
R/W washdown
rocket launcher
spreader lights
windshield wiper (port side)
coaming bolsters
Tackle cabinet
Trim tab w/ auto retract
I would like to know if anyone has a "good" estimate as to what this will cost. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have made some calls and the numbers came back a little "fishy". I thought maybe a fellow THT member could shed some light.
Thank you.
Call Mid Atlantic marine in Warsaw Virginia. We bought our 2310 W/A there in 2000 and the price was the best around. E-mail me and I will tell you what that price was. Can tell you this-she's a fine boat-snot water doesnt bother her-she's a bull dog.
I suspect that Parker doesn't have all that many dealers and that they prefer that the closest dealer is the only one that will sell to a customer. If that is the case, then the price will be artificially higher than it would be if normal supply and demand were the only factors influencing price.
Probably close to 90k! electronics? I was told the hull was 60k, then I was thinking t'225 4's! I've heard the single 250 doesn't do it for the DV. But I guess that's relative to people's desire for speed! I ended up with a GW 265 Express (used 2000) with twin Yam 200 ox66.
Alot more family friendly! Good luck!

If you do a search on Boat Trader, you will find several 23 Parker boats listed. Prices range from $35K to $45K - plus a few 2004 dealer models where the dealer won't list the price.
The few boats in the $35K range seem close to what you are describing, with the exception of a smaller motor - only a 200. A few of them are a model year old and some have many hours on the motor, as well.
The boats listed in the $45K range are also close to what you are looking at. A 2003 hull with a 2003 225? Yamaha - no trailer. Another with a 200? Yamaha.
Here in NC, the boat you described lists out around $56,800 (except for the tackle center). The dealers advertised "value price" is $52,500 (about 8% off list) plus they (dealer) just had a promotion for $1,500 of free electronics. I found I was able to get another couple percent off the total package with electronics, trailer, etc.
Also, Yam has free extended warranty right now through late March - be sure you get that as well.
Be prepared to get nailed by white water, only dealer in town.I would consider other lines of boats.
went to white water the other day....the sales guy told me they cant get enough boats for the demand......gave me a price on a 23 tourn contender w twin 150s ....mid $90s!!!...there online better equipt for mid $70s....snakes!!
Maybe KEVINS won't mind me steering this thread off-topic since, according to his other thread, he's already placed his order.

I am certainly no fan of salespeople. When I started my research, I went to White Water 1 1/2 years ago to start the process I felt the same way. Do your research, walk in and make an offer. Put the checkbook on the table and "put on" the serious face. When they recognize that you are for real, they will work with you, again within reason.
The dealer quoted above as claiming that they can't meet demand has been actively advertising its new boats in the marine section of a prominent Long Island newspaper for at least the last two years. I am not a marketing genius but If I do not have enough supply to meet demand I would not spend good money to advertise for even more buyers.
Just cause a salesman says something doesn't make it so.
In 1999 my bare hull was 26,000.00
Factory installed Hard Top 3700.00 with front and side curtains.
I had this deal going. And the dealer offered me a Factory rigged Yamaha 250 on the transom, for 42,000.000 + 1000.00 rebate on accesories which I used on Compas, Washdown etc.
As far as I know the rocket Launchers are a 550.00 option.
My advise is start with the basics. Go to Boats.net and look at what that engine is selling for. Remember it is much cheaper for them.
If he is asking 60,000 for the boat then you are paying 46,000 for the hull !!!!
I know my was made 5 years ago but there has been very little inflation. Certainly not 80%.
Break it down into components. Enjoy the haggling process.
