Random Quote: Man you should've been here yesterday
Check out these pictures of a brand-new 55-foot Carver Marquis falling from it’s sling – with two crewmen on board. These pictures are insane. Here’s the link for pics and a story that explains them.
Full disclosure: I run the site that contains the photos. I have been a member of this forum for awhile and I know how people feel about promotion (I generally feel that way too). But I thought these were pretty amazing and that people would want to see them. We've already had well over 50,000 views in a day and a half.
The photos floated around the Internet a bit and I thought there might be a thread here on them, but I couldn’t find anything. If it exists, point me to it. I’d like to read.
The stories about Elvis's death are knot true. He is alive and living with Anna Nicole Smith. I know, I just read it in a magazine in my chiropractors office.
Yes, they were here on a couple threads a while back. Nice to get the low-down. I thought some of the pic's I saw were faked. I'm glad no one was hurt.

Last month Passagemaker had a story about a guy who's 43' Nordhaven fell from a sling. Unfortunately for him it landed on concrete and was a total loss.
That's funny. I just saw the fuel slick too, and I've stared at that photo a dozen times. It carries 800 gallons, according to company specs, so that must have been a huge issue, given that it went to the bottom. Then again, maybe tanks were not completely full.
