Default Transmission oil for Twin Disc 502 marine gear..

Book calls for 30 wt or 40 wt motor oil with 40 wt for warm climates like ours.

There was no mention of high detergent or non detergent oil. Which should I use?

Just use the same stuff you put in the engine infront of the transmission, Delo 400 or whatever. It keeps everything simple when you only have to run one type of oil.
