any first hand experience on this one? any information will be good. thanks in advance

I am making an offshore trip on my father's 2001 27 Judge downeast on Monday. I will be able to better comment on her ride after that. He runs her offshore regularly and is very happy with the boat. He says the ride is decent with trim and it is very economical to run. He says he certainly cannot run with his buddy's 28 Parker when the seas kick up, but he burns about half the fuel. It is a small 27'er at 26'4". Despite not buying the boat from Judge, Bill Judge treated him well when he had them go over the boat at the time of purchase.
