Default Sailfish 2660

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have contacted a dealer that is offering me a 2007 Sailfish 2660, w/ T150 Yamaha & trailer, and prep & freight included for $66,000.

I was previously looking at the Mako 234, but I am thrilled about the Sailfish offer.

I have 2 concerns, the sailfish is about $15k more than the Mako and stretches my budget a bit. And I can't find one around the Jersey shore to go look at, let alone sea test. The dealer is like 3 hours away

Does anyone know of a dealer around Ocean City/Wildood NJ area. The one dealer in Pt Pleasant, NJ doesn't have one. Or is someone is selling one used I could at least look at as it sits in the slip?

I think this is a great oppt'y, but I would like to atleast check it out before I explore further.

Thanks in advance for any help or advise that you can offer. Hopefully in years to come I can repay this board with the knowledge I have already taken from it.

Brian

I wish I could help you but I wish more I could have found a deal like that before I bought my 2360! That is one nice deal. The 2660 is a wonderful boat and the ride quality is close to or at that of the Big guys. The 150 are a great combo and the boat is a looker. I never go out without a compliment on the boat and the resale for this boat is good especially with a deal like that. If you would like to have more info on boats that may be availabel for you to see try Sailfishforum.com. They may have someone with that boat up there. Enjoy and please let us know when you get it in. You will be more than pleased.

Jokermuss,

I'm not sure what is going on, but we bought our 2360 from All Seasons Boat Sales in Sommers Point. I just looked on the Sailfish website and they were not listed. If you want to look at our's (although it is 2360 with a single F250) send me a message. We have our boat docked in Marmora. I am pretty sure there is at least one 2660 in the marina (All Seasons). The 2360 and 2660 are pretty close in terms of layout. The 2660 has about another two feet behind the leaning post versus the 2360.

Thanks Lost shaker for your input.

Beancounter, I see a ton of Sailfish when I am in the back bay, so I was shocked that there wasn't a dealer, but I will check out All-seasons this weekend

Finman,

Is Wayne not a dealer anymore? He is not listed on the Sailfish website. What's going on?

I went over this weekend to check out the 2660, no sea trial cuz we had our baby with us. But we were very impressed with the layout/fit/finish of the 2660. I fell in love immediately.

The price is still a bit higher than we were first thinking. So, we may look to find a used 266 or 2660 or even look at the 23' boats too.

Planning on heading to the AC In water Boat show in Sept, I have no idea what to expect there.

Thanks for all of your help folks
