We ran a group of 33 boats to Bimini at the end of June. We has reserved the majority of our rooms at the Bimini Sands and Bimini Bay. While Bimini Bay is a nicer facility, the Sands provides more of a group atmosphere while still keeping the quality of their condo's on the higher end.
On the first day there, we had a beach party out in front of Bimini Bay:
The Deep Impact with the painted white Verados sticks out in the middle of Yamaha country...
When we cleared, we made sure they wrote on our forms that spearfishing was permitted. These hogs were found in 30' north of Bimini:
We installed a monster tower on one of our 3300CC's, and let me tell you, the tower is the way to go. Can you find the school?
There is an easy way to find the biggest fish in the school. Toss in a bunch of livies and they hang under the boat. The dolphin would attack the livies within 2 feet of Dennis, so we handed him the Hawaian sling and set him loose.
Of course, its tough to run a triple engine boat these days without getting checked out. Thumbs up to the men and women who protect our coast. They are welcome on my boat any time.
