I'm thinking that I'm gonna buy a 20' john boat and rig it with 5 Evinrude Etec's, that should make me even.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important tha his own personal safetly, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of BETTER men than himself"

I'll never understand why it's neat to goof on people....good luck brett....
Glen, consider it a compliment that people know you well enough to effectively bust your balls, and that are even inclined to do so. Kinda like some brotherly love!!!!
I'm not a huge Verado fan, but had a chance to see--scratch that--HEAR a large center console trip rigged with Verados zooming up the Bimini channel last weekend. Those 18 super-charged cylinders sounded bad-azz. More like an airplane than a traditional outboard.
If the fuel #'s I have read about are true, Merc just made another great move on the Outboard Motor Chess Board.
How are you guys making out????
Loving the boat!
Just spent 2 days on it fishing the Great Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament! I'm not a big fan of kingfishing, but we had a great crew and lots of fun. The boat perfomed flawlessly.
rbutterworth,
Did you get any pics of the boat. If it was thurs. it was prolly me coming back from the factory. ( Dark Blue with a white dodge ) I like these new 300 verados, but what is with the gearcase with that straight edge, and the nose cones just seem they need a little sharpening. I believe the reason the Suzukis 300's run so hard is the gearcase pierces the water better than the 250's. Im sure there is a reason its that way, but just something i noticed.
