Default Mckee 22 freedom....

is one sick boat! I suppose it all depends on your perspective, but my dad just went from a 19.5' polar with a 115 yamaha (he knew he was going to get rid of it the first time he took it out.... should have done a sea trial) to a 22 McKee Freedom with 250 yamaha. We were grouper fishing about 25 miles offshore out of Cedar Key, FL last weekend in conditions that would have sent the Polar back onto the trailer in minutes. What an incredible difference in rough water handling and performance. The boat was totally rattle-free and could obviously take one heck of a lot more than I could. Rigged with the 250 the performance was fantastic... A solid deep V really makes an incredible difference.
