Default Quality Boat?

I have owned this boat for about 9 months and had a great time last summer with it. I bought this boat used late last spring and was curious if anyone has ever seen or heard of this boat.
This boat is an 84 20'Sportcraft Fisherman with 150 97'Johnson OceanRunner. So far I love the motor, as it as ran very well on every trip. However, I don't know much about the boat. I know this is a little late to be asking these question, but becuase of the deal I got I was really just buying the motor. From what I have been told they are made in Florida.

Your thoughts and info are appreciated. Thanks,

*

SportCraft boats were manufactured in Perry Florida. They were in and out of business and were most recently owned by someone who retired as chief operating officer from a major boat manufacturer (can't remember which). They made a good boat at competitive prices and have a following in Florida. They have been out of business for at least 2 years. I'm sure you can find more info by searching forums and the web.

Ok, I think I have the pic uploaded correctly this time.

Thanks for the info.

So far it does seem like a quality boat..nice solid deck, it's does very well in rough water, and with that 150 Johnson it will run about 47 MPH. Also, did a little research and was suprised to find out that this was a pretty heavy hull. 2500lbs seem pretty heavy for a 20ft CC, right?

I know nothing of that make of boat but my only comment is:

if you like the boat and have a great time on her fishing or whatever you need her to do, then it's a GREAT boat...enjoy it!

Thanks for the comment.

I agree totally, I was just curious if by chance someone out there had first hand experience of at least a similar year and/or make.

...and yes I have definately had fun so far..all boats have there drawbacks, but this one suits me just fine for now.

Welcome my NC brethren. That is a nice solid looking rig. Someone must have taken pretty good care of her.

Very popular up here on the Great Lakes, especially the hardtop models and they seem to last forever in freshwater.Alot of 80's models still be chartered in the 27 foot and 30 foot variety..
