Yamaha f250 question

I have a new (20 hours) f250 and am wondering if i should avoid any areas spraying silicone on it??My old os66250 had o2 sensors which did not like silicone-any spots on this f250 which will be harmed?? Thanks Mark

I would not spray silicone on a marine engine. I use Boeshield. Merc Corrosion Guard and Midwest Corrosion Block are also good.

I use Boeshield T-9. Motor loves it...mechanic hates it because it never goes away. Use it on my battery connections also.
