Default Optimax Engine Mounted Oil Tank

The engine mounted oil bottle on my 135 Optimax is leaking when the engine is running. The threads (plastic) are stripped and not allowing an adequate seal. Short of ordering a new bottle with an inclusive sensor - not cheap I assume - are there any other options I may have as a solution. Thanks

Nope. This system is extremely important. The cost of a plastic tank is pennies compared to blowing a powerhead, would you agree?

the system works on pressure so the seal is important. maybe could find a used one on ebay but I would go ahead and buy new one and be done with it

Like it was mentioned, that tank new is cheaper than a rebuilt powerhead. If it costs 50 I'd be shocked.
