Default '95 G W Ialander 268 150's prop help?

Bought this boat last fall, curent props are the yamaha black stainless 3 blade, 13 3/4 x 17.
I would like to keep on pane at lower speed. Below 20 mph it falls off plane (with tabs down), in some seas that's not good!! This is with 2 people, 120 gal fuel (200cap) and some gear.
At WOT rpm's reach just under 5000 at 39 mph. These are carbed salt water series with top end RPM range is 4500-5500. Motors run great, compression is strong and even, all approx 127 to 130.

Anyone with similar set up?
How are you proped?

Thank you for any help,
Mike

Forgetting speed (20mph)....at what rpm's do you fall off plane?

I think this will help others to dial you in a little better.

14 1/4 diameter may give you more bite. Your pitch seems good at first, smack in the middle of your wot range (but your boat is not loaded up). Could even go to 14 1/4 X 15 (would take you to 5300/5400 rpm's wot) and really make the boat peppy at mid range, where we run the boats the most. This is the size I run on my 27 Phoenix using Rapture props, the only props I run these days.

I do think the 15 pitch would be better since you are 480 pounds light with only 120 gallons of fuel.
