Got a call from my fatherwhois at a campground in VA with boat problems. I was on my there tonight but thought I had better try to help while I'm still online here in MD.
All the local shops near him are 2 weeks backed up so I thought I'd post here for ideas before I cancel my trip.
Problem: After running his boat for a few hrs this AM as he was pulling back into the dock at idle the engine quit. Now it cracks but will not fire up. He has checked all fuss with Ohm meter and no problems there. Battery is fully charged and all fluids are good. Checked the resets and saftey shutoffs, all are good.
Any ideas I can give him via cell phone before I scrub the trip and fish in MD this weekend on my boat?
Well if it's getting fuel, it has to be electrical.
Check the plugs to see if they are wet, then check for fire. Just don't get the plug anywhere near the plug hole if you check for fire by cranking the engine!

Father is an electrician, so I'm sure he's went over it pretty good. One by stander thought it may be a power pack, but we still have no tell tell signs of where the problem is.
