Default Looking for seating - helm chair

I need a helm seat for a center console. I'm looking at the cooler type seats or a leaning post/seat. the cooler seat cost about 400 in WM which seems excessive for basically a cool that you can sit on. Is there a secondary market out there for these things?

I was recently at Marine Connections and was impressed. They buy overstock and stuff from boat builders that go out of business. If they don't have it, no one does.

Bought a couple of pedistal/bunk seats from Arrigoni, sp?, in CT. Very nice. Not cheap.

My opinion:

The swingback seats are really crappy. Someone wants to face backward, someone needs to face forward, you want to sit facing sideways, etc and the back is always in the way.

Buy a 128qt igloo and foam cushion and it will be more versatile (just not as cute)
