Default Yamaha HPDI 200 overheating at idle

Need advice: Since my 200 hour maintenance she now overheats at idle speed...took it back to the tech and he can not find anything wrong. I insisted the water pump be replaced again and they are claiming that is not the issue. Don't know what to do at this point. Anyone have an idea what it could be?

This sucks because I need idle speed for Kingfish season...and I feel I am loosing the life of the engine by it overheating.

Overheating at idle and not at higher RPMS is almost always the water pump

search "poppit valve" or "poppet valve". If the alarm goes of at idle and you jump up on plane for few seconds and the alarm goes back off then my money is on poppit valve. Also what is your idle rpm in and out of gear?

Thanks for the help! I will ask the mech about the valve...

Can't get to plane because the engine goes into emergency mode and limiter...Will check the RPM but it sounds normal. It takes about 30 minutes of idle trolling to set off alarm.
