Default Thanks Jay A

I have been antagonizing over how to put a tower on my boat without making is seem out of place or as an add on.

Jay's photo TOWER provided the inspiration

This inspiration allowed me to design a tower that can be lowered into the cockpit and thus allow me to tow the boat without worrying about bridges . . . brought the boat to the builder this week and with a pile of other mods, will have it back late Feb or late March with delays

auguste: Your welcome....I guess! Glad I could help,in a round-about way. I can't wait for photo's! It would be a welcome fill-in for winter. Have your camera ready for the mods. and good luck!
Do you need any more inspiration or is this a little too much!

Now that's what I call American, " Go big or stay home ". I guess the guy didn't have a pipe cutter when he was building that one? And what is that a 16' or 24' whip?

Camera will be at hand and pictures will be posted

Yes this second picture does provide me inspiration . . . it is a good example of what I DO NOT want

Garett

You are right . . . those are very long pieces of pipe ! Can you imagine the roll in that tower in bad seas

Auguste,

GREAT idea via JAY's pic!!! That's why I enjoy putting pics up here or seeing pics from others - it may turn out to be a boat/brand that someone has overlooked in their search or an idea for a design, such as yours!

NOTE: You're LUCKY he didn't CHARGE you - he made ME send him $25 (cash) one time JUST to tell me where a particular boat was LOCATED!!!

JUST KIDDIN' - THANKS for all your pics, Jay!!!

Regards,
Bruce W

No kidding auguste. I can picture this vessel benefiting from the use of a retractable keel like sail boats have.
