Anybody know anything about lookout boats? I gather they are inexpernsive? There's no price list at their website lookoutboats.com. Thanks, chip.

I don't know a whole lot about them. Have looked at a few though. The Marina down the street sells them. Currently has a 18 and a just sold a 25. They are mostly sold as a bare bones boat with a ton of options that you can add. From the couple of up close looks that I have had they seem to be well built. The 25 is HUGE. 10 ft beam and lots of fishing room. L8tr, Mike

Lookout Boats are the old Downeaster hulls. Very similiar to a Parker or Chawk. Comercial construction, no frills and very little to go wrong. The few that I have seen are a Mod V hull, whick works very well along the NC coast. Construction is very sturdy. It's a lot of boat for the money.

Sorry Chip, I haven't got a clue. You can call Bouge Sound Boat Company, they are a dealer in Morehead City. The guy that owns and runs it is very good and competative.

the marina down the street will let the 25 go for 17K. That's hull on;ly. Console, engine, rigging is all extra.

Chip,
Don't know about pricing, but Brian Cogglesheel, operator of TowBoat US Little Rive, SC just purchased a 25 to put in his rescue fleet. Brian is extremely savvy about boats. I am sure he researchd it thoroughly. The phone number for Lookout Boats is 252-504-2075. They are located at the new new Jarrett Bay Marine industrial Comples in Beaufort, NC
Hope this helps.
