Default 2002 SAILFISH SCUPPERS

LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS. I JUST BOUGHT A USED 2002 SAILFISH 266 WITH TWIN YAMAHA HPDI 200HP.FIRST PROBLEM IS THE COCKPIT FILLING UP WITH WATER WHEN 2 PEOPLE IN THE STERN FISHING. WATER COMING FROM SCUPPERS. SEEMS LIKE ENGINES ARE ON THE HEAVY SIDE BECAUSE THE WATER LINE IS ALMOST COVERING THE SCUPPER HOLES ON THE SIDE OF THE BOAT. ALL THE OTHER 266 MODELS WITH THE TWIN 150'S, SCUPPERS ABOVE THE WATER LINE. I KNOW THEY ARE NOT GOING TO REDESIGN A HULL JUST FOR A BIGGER ENGINE PACKAGE. SECONF PROBLEM IS CAVITION AT LOW SPEEDS IN A 2 TO 3 CHOP. THE ENGINES COULD BE MOVED DOWN ONE HOLE (WHICH IS THE LOWEST POINT), BUT I AM WORRIED THAT THE RPMS WOULD EVEN BE LESS THAN THAY ARE WHICH IS 4700 FULL THROTTLE NO TRIM. THE PROPS ARE 21ML, AND 21M SST. ANY THOUGHTS.THANK YOU RON

you need to replace the rubber flaps covering the scuppers and call sailfish for the wedges to fix the the other problem. there not cavitating but breaking loose (ventilating)I replace my flaps every season and installed the wedges with new f150s this season. talk to paul hoppes at sailfish and he will take care of you -great at customer service even if your not the first owner

Something else must be wrong. Twin 200 HPDI's are not too much weight for that boat. I don't have the 266 but I can put five people and a huge cooler in the back of my 236 and never a drop of water comes through the scuppers. I have never heard of a SF with a deck below the waterline. Are you sure you are not waterlogged. The deck and liner are cored.
