The 3070 has a VERY sharp entry that really slices chop. It has a much better ride than any Grady-White WA that I've ridden on. It's also a very heavy boat which helps smooth out the chop at the expense of fuel economy. The 3070 hull was not designed to get up on top of 3-4' chop like the 24/25 degree center consoles so you have to back off the throttle in 3/4' and chug along at a comfortable 18-22 mph.
The 3070 Offshore CC is very fishing friendly while also seating up to 6 people sheltered from the elements on the helm deck (at the expense of some cabin space).
Here's the bow of our boat when it was hauled to have the bottom repainted.
