Default Morse controls/Syten steering

Hello, all. I'm trying to find owner's manual-type info for some Morse S-type controls and a Syten power/hydraulic steering system. I got my boat in August and am learning the ins and outs of all the systems. The port throttle creeps to lower speed, and I can't find any kind of throttle tension adjustment. The steering system is just too wierd for an old wrench like me to figure out. At first I thought that at some time the hydraulic steering had been added to replace the power system, but now I think that it is one system. The power steering pump leaked, and the system worked without it, so I removed the drive belt, but I believe it is a power assist type setup. The boat is a 1981 Sea Ray with twin Mercruisers.
I also want to thank everyone for all the info, knowlege, and entertainment on the board here.

I have noticed that one of the levers of our MORSE controls has lost its capacity of staying in position during navigation. Our Morse models 031001-001 are Single Function type installed in series ( flybridge and cabin). To the contrary, of many where the lever becomes stiff with time, these throttle levers have become loose, in both flybridge and cabin.
I understand that the four screws located under the Morse’s nameplate are for determining the forward and posterior excursion limits of the levers and have nothing to do with the maintenance of its position while at navigation. I have been trying to get a diagram for these controls and have not been successful at it. Does any one know which part of the mechanism can adjuste the lever position ????
Thank you
Enrique

Enrique:
On my Morse controls (single engine / two stations) there is an adjustment screw on the side of the case near the throttle lever base that one can use to increase / decrease the tension or drag on the lever. If your controls are similar, this may be the answer.

WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY FINDINGS WITH REGARD TO MY EARLIER POSTING ON MORSE CONTROL LEVER ADJUSTMENT. FROM THE OWNER'S MANUAL THE FOLLOWING
FINAL ADJUSTMENT:

1)Operate the clutch hand lever. The detent positions and the clutch lever detents of the hydraulic transmission must coincide exactly at forward, neutral and reverse positions. Adjust the cable terminal at the transmission,if necessary,to obtain correct operation.
2) Adjust the clutch control lever stop screw to prevent operation of the control beyond forward and reverse detent positions. Remove the name plate on top of the control to uncover the stop screws.
3) Operate the throttle hand lever. Adjust the throttle cable terminal at the engine to obtain full open throttle movement. Adjust the throttle hand lever stop screws so that the lever rests on the rear stop screw at full open position and on the front screw at idle.

AND TO ANSWER MY OWN QUESTION

4)A friction brake setscrew is located at the hub center of the hand lever. Turn the setscrew clockwise to increase drag on the hand lever, or counterclockwise to decrease drag, as required

There are two screws on the lever side, the top one is the Detent Setscrew and the bottom one is the Friction Brake Screw
