Hey Ray, How've you been?

My friend has a 1989 115 with very low hours that has been in storage for 6 years but it sounds like you need something a little bigger.

What are you going to put it on?

Probably the first step in finding a reputable used o/b motor dealer is to find a reputable new o/b motor dealer that sells used ones. Even if there isn't a warranty on the one that you buy, if you have a genuine problem right out of the gate, a REPUTABLE dealer would be willing to help you out. They have their "image" in the boat business to look after, in addition the possibility of selling you a new one down the road, whereas a used dealer would more than likely be a service shop and they won't be too concerned about your happiness once they have your money (except to CHARGE you to fix any problems with it). You have no one else but the owner of the place to complain to but if it was from a new dealer you could always complain to the MFG of their new products (slightly better chance of getting help). Just my personal experience...

Aaron,
Good to hear from you. Hope you and the family are enjoying the Seaswirl. We miss it.
I may be purchasing a used 1988 20 Sportcraft CC. Hull is in decent shape. Don't have the $$ for a new vessel just yet.
Has a trashed Suzuki 140.
My daughter's almost 2 now and I want to do a little bay fishing with her soon. I think my wife was pregnant with her when last saw you. Looking for a fixer-upper for now.
I am looking for a 150-200hp to push the boat.
By all means, keep me posted if you hear of anything in your neck of the woods.

Ray
