Contrast the differences between Seafox, Proline, Key West, Century, Wellcraft as they relate to quality of contruction, ride, wet or dry, value (not just the lowest price) and which boats you would purchase in a 19 center console or or a 20 walk around

Please use the search function to find information on these boats and other mid-priced brands.

In center consoles:

Of the brands listed I would favor the Wellcraft 180 and the Key West 2020.

Not listed, but I would also consider the Scout 185 and 202, the Sea Pro 190 and 210 and the Cobia 194 and 214.

In walkarounds:

Of the brands listed I would take the Key West 2020.

Unless you are a jockey, a 20' walkaround would be a very impractical choice unless you intend to use the cabin only for storage.

Yamaha 225 HPDI

That's the boat they drop on the other ones to crush them when they are ready for the bone yard.

There are several not mentioned that are better than any you did mention? Pursuit, Tiara, Fountain, and maybe Albermarle?

Found a Cape Horn dealer in New Orleans last week. Stopped by to look at the bay boats.

Never rode in them...but they are some tough looking S.O.Bs. That bay boat, with its stepped hull must fly!

I own a Keywest and am very happy with the ride and quality of the boat. I use mine for fishing In/Off shore, having traveled 165 miles in one day tuna fishing the boat kept us dry and comfortable.
The other boats you listed are also good choices, not a bad one in the bunch. Might have to see each one and decide what appeals to you.
