Default Anyone own a Wellcraft 190CCF? (mid to late 90s)

Looking for general comments from owners - how it rides, cruising speed / power, etc...

Thanks!

Hmm, let me ask again - has anyone ever owned ANY of the "ccf" boats from wellcraft? I pass a few of them on my way out to the ocean and always think they look pretty good. I've run across a few from 18-24 feet for sale and am curious about the overall quality etc.

I have a 1996, 190ccf with 112 spl I bought it october of 2006. it came with a T top, xtra bait tank, and full electronics.I love this boat, she planes out in about 5 seconds (without tabs) and gets good mpg. The boat is listed as a 19, but that includes the bow pulpit and the swim step, still it's the only small cc that has a flat transom,(no integrated seats, storage or engine well to interfere with fishing, I also removed my captains chairs (I use folding deck chairs instead, there way more comfy) which ultimately gives me an unobstructed fishing area of about 7ft. by 6.5 ft. thats a ton of space for a boat this size.I also removed all the decals wellcraft slams on the hull, which really makes her look clean, for under 10 grand you can't beat it. JPL San Diego.

That same hull was produced by Aquasport and Ranger during the same timeframe.

In general, Wellcraft makes a good boat, but with any boat over 10 years old, actual care and maintenance will play a bigger role than initial build quality.

My neighbor has a 1998 22 CCF and loves it. I also looked at a 1998 19 CCF a couple weeks ago. The boat looks like its laid out great for fishing, this particular boat did not look like it had been maintained to its fullest extent. But I have been looking for a similar boat since.
