I'm on my second Seaswirl. Owned a Grady in between the first and current. The first was a '96 and I honestly never planned to buy anothe. I wasn't overly impressed with it, but the newer (2007) 'swirls are an entirely different product than the earlier versions. Much better, but also pricier. Ride and performance is very good and probably on par with any other 21' in this class. It is put together very well, although it doesn't compare with what you'll be hearing from the "top tier" crowd. I've owned these as well as the "top tier" brand and do 99% of all my own maintenance and repair, so I've been over them well. Also looked at and sea trialed dozens of others in between. I like this boat better than any I've owned and think I made the right choice for my needs. It really depends on what you're looking for in a boat. There are hundreds of choices, styles and price ranges for every want/need. We prefer the W/A models, no matter who makes 'em for our boating style. If you're looking for big bang for the buck and a boat the family can enjoy and feel safe in, the Seaswirl's are a good value. You need to study the owners site
