My buddy purchase a new venture last yr. and has had major problems with the boat. gel coat issues, hardware etc.. The President of Venture laugh at him and said he would get back with him. My buddy was told that a bunch of doctors own the company and was trying to get in touch with any of them. (any Help) It's been couple months and no calls from venture marine.
Has anyone had or is having the same non-responsive (customer Service) from Venture Boats in Palm Bch Fla.

RE: Venture Marine ( Lemon)
How about your distraught buddy posting some photos, some details, customer service response, etc. before you come on here with a tastless piece of spam about a reputable company.
What's the relevence of some physicians owning the company? Unless of course they are your procto group.
P.S. Yours would be the FIRST post EVER bashing Venture.

Just trying to help a fellow fisherman out, who's been stuck at the dock. He's looking for help from any other THT folks for advise and or closure.
[img=http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/1852/angryjc7.gif] I think you are full of crap, Venture makes one of the best CC in the market. Back up your claim or shut up.
I have yet to hear about Venture and Lemons, also the few I have encountered that could afford one loved theirs. But nonbody can be perfect all the time. I spoke with owner a few years ago and he was clear who he sold too and what they wanted from him and his boats. Seemed like a nice guy. I live in SW Fla and there are quite a few between here and the Keys, I hope your friend gets his problems fized but with this company I would be careful how you word things, they have a good rep.
I'm fishing a brand new 34 this year, in fact it'll be rigged and ready today. IMO there's some serious horse ballyhoo trolling going on here, somebody get the gaff.

I have never seen anything like that with any of the Venture line and the factory support is second to none. Please describe what kind of defects so that we may have a clear idea as to the issues. Also, his dealer should be solving these problems, not the factory unless the dealer is unresponsive or incompetent. I have been all through many of their boats and never found so much as a gel crack or stray wire anywhere so this does seem to be a bit out of the ordinary.
For what it's worth, my canvas guy doing my boat said he just did a 30 something Venture and the owner had had alot of problems with major gel coat cracking.
I guess I'll leave it up to him to fight his own battles..
Bunch of crap. You come on making inflammatory statements and then bail out w/ a "guess he'll have to fight his own battles." If that's what you thought, then why didn't you just have "your friend" post in the first place?
