They aren't real close to you, but there is a place in Chesapeake Va. called Budget Boats. I think the website is www.budgetboats.net You could easily describe the place as a junk yard....

Harpoon:

What type of hardware are you looking for?

FWIW I've bought some excellent hardware on-line from www.surplusunlimited.com and www.gemlux.com . Examples: solid cast stainless steel thu-hulls for $6-8 each. Highly polished too !

Have bought Ancor Products electrical stuff for ~40% LESS than West/Boat-US and other local boating stores from www.shipstore.com .

I have a bunch of sites for specific hardware that I identified when I "rebuilt" the Parker that I now own. Let me know what you're looking for and perhaps I can be of more help. Cheers!

There is a honest to goodness boat junkyard in Port Clinton Ohio Harpoon ,but that is a long way from you...They have it all..A friend bought the back of a boat and turned it into a bar type of desk on castors that he takes to the sport shows to book his fishing charters. It had a 10 foot beam and he made it about 3 feet deep with shelves for his brochures..and painted it up real nice to match his rig,,,,,a 30 foot sportcraft.something else id say.

Thanks for all of the replies.

I'm looking for rocket launchers for my hard top. I hate to spend 550.00 bucks on them. Perhaps some decent out-riggers or out-rigger hardware as well.

Thanks again.

Go to Ebay and search listing under the seller name boatparts1. They usually have everything and very trustworthy. E-mail them what you are looking for and I'm sure they could help.

Two good places, Marine Consignment on rt 1 in Wickford, RI, and Newport Nautical in on the rotary next to the Naval War College. Its a nice warm drive south from up where you are.

FYI, when I too was put off by the high price of the factory rocket launchers, I did an internet search and found numerous custom hoses that will make them to your specs for at least 1/3rd or more less ...
