FICHT RAM oil pump made in mexico - The Hull Truth

My NO OIL Light is coming on and will be having the marina look at it. Yesterday I took the cowling off and noticed the pump was made in mexco
on 2003 250 H.P. ficht ram.

Probably faulty parts.

A lot of things are made in Mexico, that doesn't mean they are inferior. They are subject to the occasional factory defect just like any other part no matter where its made. If you drive a Ford truck or a VW more than likely it was assembled in Mexico. The term "American Made" doesn't have the same meaning as it used to.

Have you been giving it a supplement of rice and beans? If not, your warranty might not cover it. LOL!

What was the current ambient temperature where you were when the NO OIL light came on and what type of oil is in the oil tank?
