Default Lets hear it...World Cat boats

Thinking about the World Cat 32 Express Cabin. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge about the boat. I've heard you can't beat the ride...any truth to that. Hopefully will sea trial one in the next month. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have been out in 2 of them and it was a great ride in some sloppy stuff. On the one charter in the Keys the Capt said he was out 327days last year. Great Boat!

I understand the argument about "better in sloppy water" re a cat hull.

If you can "pick your days" (like I can), why might I consider a cat?

It's not like I have to go out in "sloppy water".

I'm totally miffed about this. ????????????

Depends on where you fish and how long you want to enjoy the sport, fishing offshore back to back days with no rest.

The fishing is usually good in places where its hot, and hot means thermals that produce wind every afternoon.

So if you like to fish 50-70 miles out, and the wind starts blowing at noon, thats not much fishing time if you want to get back in before the chop gets to be more than 2 feet.

You can follow out other boats and anchor up at night if you leave real late for the Canyons, but here in Mexico, no one will be out there in case you have a problem, so we day fish, as weather reports are not reliable either.

In monos we would head south in the summer to come home with a following sea then go north in the winter for the same reason. But the fish aren't always just north or south, sometimes they follow the bait.

Dog Tired - doesn't sound like you would ahve any advantage ... if you can say you'll go out AND get back in without encountering slop.

Not sure why you're miffed though if I understand the meaning of miffed

Great customer service and they are good riding boats. That 32 is a real platform.......made mine feel small.
