At the Palm Beach show the 23 with single Yamaha F250 had a show price of $73,450. The 27 with twin Suzuki 225s had a show price of $131,735.

Doug

You could buy a 28TE Southport for less than 130k.

The boat tests linked to off the Southport website show them costing considerably more with a base price of 150k. If the Palm Beach Albury was rigged the same as the one at the Miami show then it was fully loaded with electronics, outriggers, etc.
I was on one last month, new, that cost what I posted. Yellow.

JupiterEdge - 2/5/2008 10:05 PM I've heard the Albury is a tank. Theyare still being built in the Abacos, but now they have a second plant in Florida. Hope you enjoy your new boat, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Thanks..To date have close to 20 hours on her..and yes she is extremely effecient. We have encountered 3-4 seas and the landing is not only soft..but dry. We really like this boat, and has worked out great for fishing, skiing and tubing. Well built, rock solid, simple to maintain, and we always get a .

Yesterday was 7 miles offshore fishing in my Albury 20 in steady 10-15 mph wind with 2' seas for most of the morning, around 2:30 pm the wind started picking up and started coming from the north and were blowing a steady 20 with gusts to 29 and the seas built to 4.5' on average. [for those skeptics out there...here is the NOAA website that has hour by hour real time data on seas, wind, and more for specific locations] http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=41114

and a graph of wave height in our area over the last 5 days, note the period between 8:00 EDT and appox 3:00EDT
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/show_plot.p...time_label=EDT

The Albury handled the ride back to the St. Lucie inlet like a champ. Stayed on plane going 18 knots the entire way and although got fairly wet from the wind whipped waves, since the seas and wind were coming from the north as we headed west, the ride was secure and there was no pounding of the hull. Just a testament to how well these boats are built and how solid the ride is.

I know exactly what you're talking about.. When I go over a large cruiser wake everybody new on the boat starts to cringe waiting for that crash landing. As soon as we go over them they turn around and say this boat rides awesome...and it does. It's meant to go between 20 and 38 mph and be very effeciently and can really handle the rough stuff, best 23-26' boat Ive been in....NOW CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO POST PICS ON THIS SECTION..THEY WORKED ON THE mIAMI SHOW PICS BUT NOT HERE...THANKS JEFF

Hey Jeff you need to be a captain's club member, then you can post photos..the below info comes from the site...would love to see more photos of your ride..

As an added benefit to our supporting Captains Club members we offer the option of attaching images to posts made in this forum. Here's how:

1) Locate a boating or fishing image on your computer. The image file size must be under 400,000 bytes.
2) Post a new message and make a comment about the image in the post field.
3) Before submitting your post check the "Attach a file after posting" box below your post then click "Submit"
4) The next page will ask you to "Attach a file". Use the "Browse" button to find your image file to attach. .gif and .jpg only. Click "Submit" and allow a few seconds for your image to load.
5) If this procedure is followed you should receive a "Upload successful. " page. Now click "Actions
Return to the thread"

THAT'S IT!

Now in plain English..
Once you are a Capn Club member..click on the 'Albums' tab on the top toolbar. Then click on 'Actions' > Create and Edit Your Photo Albums.* Then you are taken to a page that allows you to name your photo album and also upload photos/edit photos/view photos.* If your attempt to upload a photo is not successful chances are it may be too large.* In that case go to the photo on your PC and right click your mouse.**Your should get several options, one of which should be 'resize'.* Try again....

If successful you will then need to determine the file number for each photo that you wish to post on one of your messages.* You can do that from within your THT Album by right clicking on the photo, the last option on the list that pops up will be properties.* Click on Properties and you will see on the top a bunch of nonsense that ends in 5 numbers.* Those numbers are the photos ID.* Write the numbers down and you are ready to post.

If you are successful your photo will then display when you click on the Submit button.* I hope this has helped and if someone knows of a better way to do this please let me know as well...

A couple of dolphin in 300 feet and on the way back stopped over an artificial reef and tried a butterfly jig for the second time. On the third drop got slammed however I never saw the fish and eventually got cut off...
By the time I got another one tied on the wind and seas picked up real fast so I stowed the gear and headed for home...
