Default bunk guide ons

I'm thinking of replacing my PVC guide ons with the bunk style. After a couple of hairly experiences last year with wind and waves when pulling out.
Any recommended on a manufacturer or style, whole side bunk or just the aft shortys?
Thanks ,

Had same problem with PVC guide on's. Am in process of replacing now with the two foot bunk style. Also moving tail lights to mount on the bunk guide on's.

Will be glad to let you know how they work but will be couple weeks before using again.

Get the type that are made of aluminum. Be sure that they have PVC fitted around the aluminum and are big enough to allow the PVC part to spin freely. That way they don't just slide down the side of your boat.

Get full length 2 X 6's posts welded ( or bolted) at each end. I just get her half-assed aligned and let them 2x6's do the rest. Oh, and use a light bar, it will last you the rest of your life without any problems

I like my bunk style guide on but would make one suggestion. I would modify them in some way so they are easily removed which makes waxing the boat much easier.
