New pix's added. The boat is built. Ahhhhh!
Now it's some touch up sanding and put the primer to it. Then more sanding.

warthog5, I don't know a thing about boatbuilding but it sure looks like great work to me.
I have never driven a boat with stick steering, what are the advantages? My father-in-law has had stick steering on all his boats because he grew up running airboats and that is what he is used to.
Looking forward to seeing more pics.

The main thing is that you can get your weight foward, to balance the boat better and not take up
much room as you would with a console and steering wheel.
It works well on small craft where a console would be in the way of moving around the boat.

Alot of hand blocking and this is what you get.
Nothing prettier than a Black hull to me, but it has to be stright.
If you want it stright don't even put a DA sander on it.

Looks gorgeous, but the ImageStation.Com business is a nightmare for anyone trying to see your boat.

Thank You feralcat.
What do you get when you go to the link?
Does it ask you to sign up?

I had to copy and paste to the address bar to see them.

Anyway the images you posted are not showing up here for me.

No. No you can't. I might gently note, that Capt. Club members can use the web hosting here, but that's 'tween you and....

Quite honestly, I don't think anyone much wants to have to sign-up with the "ImageStation" just to see your boat. As "Inkahootz" notes, you can work with the URL directly. To obtain it, just right-click the link to the picture and select "properties", and grab the actual URL. Disregard the trailing "orig.j"

HTH. BTW, I owe you one for suggesting in another thread, not to buy third-party Service Manuals. <sigh> Naturally I read that after wasting $34.95 inc. shipping on a "Clymers." Guess I'll spend the big bucks to buy the factory manual and parts catalog, too.
