Default Center Console 26-29' Which one??

Just sold my Pursuit WA and am in the market for a CC in the 26-29' range. Would like to trailer some so probably need the beam under 9'6". Freshwater use mainly. Probably a little fishing and more just running around. Checking out Contender,Regulator,Southport....... Am I missing any others that I really should look at??

Not trying to start anything, just trying to make sure I don't miss anything. I am less concerned with the price than the quality of the vessel and the ride.

Might want to consider Everglades, Edgewater, Hydrasports, McKee Craft (FS), Grady White, and Robalo.
Can't really see a Contender or a Regulator as "run-arounds".

Take a look at Sea Vee as well. I personally have a Contender 27....I absolutly love the boat. Built very well, rides great, no seating though. I had a rear folding bench seat fabricated for the back that is removable for fishing and you can have the same made for the bow area If you are going to buy new, you can get the forward seating on the 25.

Thanks on the Sea Vee. I was just watching Jose yesterday and didn't even think of those.

I also found the thread similar to this one on the C.C.'s and have been following that as well.

If price is not an object, my favorite in that size range is the Southport 28.

The Southport 28 is a definite contender (?) for the purchase but is getting marked down a little for the extra width on the trailering side of things. I figure if I can stick to 9'6" I will be a lot better off. That is definitely a sweet looking boat and gets almost unequivocally positive reviews on THT and elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies. I have been perusing some new websites this afternoon.

For sweet water use, I'd go with a Grady White and save a ton of money.

A fs 26 reg then the 25s contender The Southport is 10' beam in the 28 nice to fish on but less than nice to trailer wise Around here in New England we have summer bridge construction with the jersey barriers My boat is 8'6 and I sweat bullets going through those about 3" per side in places If I had a 9' beam I would have to take another route to get to that ramp which is about 10-12 extra miles Fine after fishing but not before as it's all 30mph back roads instead of highway
Jupiter 29 and Venture 27 are also very nice
Island runner 26 is a sleeper
Whitewater 25-28 You can have a front seat made that can be folded or removed if wanted
Boston Whaler 27
these are in addition to what is already mentioned

You didn't mention the Pursuit CC which surprises me. Usually Pursuit owners are brand loyal and they currently make a boat perfect for your needs?

If budget can tolerate, look no further than the Southport 26 or Sea Vee 29. Depends on if you want Carolina style or Florida style boat. I leave out the Southport 28 only bc the beam is a foot over your maximum. For me, the Southport has better seating for running around and would be shorter for easier trailering.

If budget is a consideration, Key West 268 is a great value. Robalo also has some nice products.

Pursuit is not under consideration.

I will definitely check on Triton. I didn't know they made boats like this.

Southport would be probably the right setup but the nearest dealer is 10 hours away and the dealer didn't seem all that anxious to sell one when we talked. I also think the right boat there is the 28 but again a little wide. I do know that Pursuit has conceptual drawings for the next version of the C310 incorporating a version of the leaning post on the Southport with the aft seating and the livewell below. Interesting........

Thanks a lot for all the thoughtful responses.... I have broadened my search for sure.

Key west makes a 293 Looks like a sporty SOB This is a new hull for them but looks like a serious hull at a mid tier price level Im sure it is not in the same league finish wise as some mentioned but looks like alot of unsinkable boat for the coin

Here are two more, both very strong hulls that will save you some serious money over the Southport, etc.:
