Default Simple Question

This is prob a simple question, so dont flame me!! I have 2002 Johnson 150. How do I know how many hours are on it? Besides keeping track on my own....thanks!

Some of the newer engines have memory chips in them that log the hours. I don't thing your motor has one, however I think Ficht does, and probably all of the direct injection motors for that matter.

The 'average' boater does fifty hours per year acciording to the statistics I've read. On the other hand, my boat sees 200 hours per year average, with at least a third of that trolling. Some smaller boats in the Northeast (shorter season) only average twenty-five hours a year.

I have the same motor, as you might remember from the post a few days ago, and was told they don't have hour meters on the 2002 150 johnson.

Yes I do remember. thought so. by the way, want down to the boat last night, flushed with fresh water, greased the steering pumped and primed, started right up...let idle for a bit and nothing stalled.
