Sometime in July I plan on buying a new boat and the Sailfish 2660CC for now is at the very top of my list. Boats seem to be a lot cheaper in Florida or Georgia and I live in Texas so I plan on making a road trip to buy the new boat. Location isn’t a deciding factor but the closer the better. I need y’alls help finding a good Sailfish dealer and answering a few questions.
Here are the questions that I have for now.
1. What’s a good price for a loaded 2660CC with F150s?
2. Who can give me the best price?
3. Who has a boat available for sea trial?
4. Who works with service departments outside there area to provide any warranty work for people that live 400 miles from the nearest Sailfish dealership?
Personally, I think you're setting yourself up for major problems by not buying locally. When you are put at the back of the line for service, please post here.....find your best deal in Fla/wherever and ask/please/beg your local dealer to match it or come close....
Thanks for the reply Glen
The closest Sailfish dealer to me is 400 miles away. The dealerships in my area for any other boat that I'm interested in are WAY to proud of there boats. At least 10% more for a new boat here than in Florida. We have guys over here asking 100000+ for a two year old 26’ ProKat. I can buy that boat new in Florida (not that I would ant to) for less than 85G.
Ill take the hassle over letting these Houston boat dealers rip me off.
We have the cheapest housing in the country but y’all have the cheapest boats.
Have you looked at the Key West 268? As much as I like the 2660, once we saw the 268 and took a ride on it, I'm convinced it's a great choice too! Each has its advantages that will appeal to individual buyers. What impressed us the most about the 268 was teh wide beam and stability in rough seas.
i just recieved my new 2660 with the 250 and it is sweet. i bought mine hear in jax fl and got a real good deal better than i could have got in georgia. you could probaly get a 2660 loaded with 150s trailer and all low to mid 70s out the door.

Mine did 28 with a single 250 Of course the other was trimmed up out of the way. 250s rock on this boat.

i took mine out this past sat for the first time to break it in i went 30 miles and burned 13.1 i had a full tank only thing was missing was fishing gear. at the end of the day i hit 51 and was only at 3 quarter throttle.
Mine is consitent with RPMS (3000=30, 4000=40, and so on) I ran mine Saturday fully loaded and with 4 guys I can squeeze 60 in a light chop. These motors are really starting to loosen up. I only have 30 hours on mine.

You know, I read this comment all the time on here. I'm here to say that I own 2 boats, a Sailfish and a Key Largo. I bought them in Jacksonville, Fl and Brunswick, GA. and I regularly take them to different dealers and have NEVER had a single issue with attitude or speed of service. Maybe it's just me, but in the future, I absolutely would not give this comment any thought whatsoever, just in my experience.
