My brother got a price on one at the Baltimore Boat show from Atlantic Towers it was $1000. It was very nice and they have a good reputation. Check there web site.
I do not see why a local machine shop could not build one for less than 200 bucks depending on whether you use Stainless steel or aluminum. I would suggest steel & get it powder coated. Damn if these things cost so much, I can start building some & powder coat them and all, for 300 or so dollars.

Uh, I have to ask if any of you have priced either aluminum or stainless tubing lately. I buy a lot of both and have seen the price nearly double in the past 2 years. I currently figure aluminum at $3.00 per pound. If you 'd like to buy the anodized stuff from Taco, figure $7.00 per pound. Stainless weighs quite a bit more and seldom comes in at under $7.00 per pound. Then you have to cut it up, form it, notch and weld. Unless you employ magic elves, you're not getting a top for $300......
I bought an arch from Atlantic at about $1500 and wondered how they did it.
Whatever dude. Just because it is a boat, every manufacturer of boating products think they can charge 10 times what something is really worth. I very well know what stainless & aluminum costs. look at where you are & where i am. Everything in Hawaii costs more than any where else in the WORLD(probably). A nice arch is what this guy wants, not a whole T-Top. I am definetly going to build some & sell them for 800 bucks. I will save those looking for them half their money & make me a 250% profit. I will post a picture of my first arch & then start taking orders. Let's see, i will even make High, medium, & low profile ones, powder coatedin whatever color you want.

Don’t know anything about bimini tops (I think they are only legal in Florida ) but ABoater is offering the solution I also came around to a couple years ago; make your own. Or have it made. When I inquired into where to buying one affordable, everyone from West Marine to boat yards referred me to a local metal works place that was able to fabricate a navigation arch for a little more than 1/2 the price of buying one. I still thought it was too much.
Lex it you work for a buck a hour may be you can sell one for $800 bucks (maybe) I built a hard top on my last boat
I thought it would cost a few hunderd bucks . $1500 bucks and many hours later I had my top . ( I have wholesale ways to buy all parts also ) the boat I have now has nice top well worth every dime it cost to have it made . I can make more money doing something else then the time it takes make one . btw my home made top was a POS compared to what a pro made . but go ahead you'll see been there !

Lex - I'm pretty sure you've never built one before . . . the way you're shooting off your mouth. Do you have the equipment to bend, cut and shape pipe? tig welder? roof over your head? If you did you'd know that there is NO WAY you can build one for $300 once you truly calculate the costs.
