Yamaha oil vs other brands for 200hp 2003 Yam

Just bought a 2003 Sailfish with Yr2003 200 HP Yams (2 Stroke). My old boat had a Yr2000 Suzuki, also 2 stroke. I've been using Mercury oil in the Suzuki with no problem for the last 350 hrs. The Merc oil is less expensive at wall mart. Will the Merc oil be ok in the Yam? If not, is there a place to buy yam oil at a discount?

I just bought a boat with a 225 OX66 Yami. The owner ran Penzoil in it and I think I will continue to do the same. Check with Andy at SIM located in the vendor section. I'm gooing to get him to price it for me.

I have been running the penzoil synthetic blend in all the motors I have owned over the years. Now I am talking a wide range of sizes and different brands. I have never had any motor blow and they all had same compression when I sold as when I bought. I get the penzoil at Academy and Wally world. I just like that bright yellow jug. Also makes good crab trap float when empty LOL.

TCW-3 is all that matters. I have over 2000 hours on my yamahas and I don't think I have ever put Yamalube in them. I pick it up where ever I can find it the cheapest.
