Nice looking boat, doesn't look like a Donzi though, nor does that look like a Donzi logo.

Nice setup. Wouldn't mind that power on my boat one day. Keep us posted on the numbers. Did you get a counter or two standards?

Ron,
Did you by chance buy that boat from Seel's Outboard in Charleston?

No, I did have then Put the new motors on it. But I bought it from One of the guys at Reel John's he sold it to me. I bought it thinking I would fixup and rebuild the motors but after seeing how much gas the old motors used I just rewired and replaced everything I could afford.
Then repowered this year. And yes this is donzi it's the F-23 they also made this boat in a F-25 You dont see many but there are two here in town this boat came in three different models one had standard inboard or with the bracket and twin 140's or a bracket with single 250 hp.
Yes this a counter rotation setup!!
Why do you ask GW 192???

re: "Doesn't look like a Donzi?"

It sure does look like one of the Chris-Craft "Fish-Hawk" fishing models, which were sold back when OMC owned both Chris and Donzi.

Do I see a connection there?

Anyway, it looks like a great boat. Enjoy!

Your pics look like they were shot in Seel's back lot. I've spent alot of time there looking at the new Grady's and was just wondering how you liked them as a dealer. As you see from my Sig. I live in Ky. and want to be sure they are a good dealership to deal with. If this is not Seel's lot, then my mistake.

Yes it is Seel's and they are a good bunch to deal with Just dont be in a hurry they want every thing to be just right. and with the amount of boats comming in to be worked on this time of year I think they did good.
Who did you talk to? I used Herb. He is a good guy. I looked at the new G/W but they are just to much at this time. My buddy has a 25 sailfish with twin Yammy 225 4 stroke and when the water is to big for this old girl we use it.
Nice rig. and good on gas too last trip we took on it we used 98 Gal and ran 65 miles off shore trolled all day about 14 hours.

I have talked with Ernie Seels and a guy named Darin, both very nice and friendly, I was well satisfied with initial contact with them. Last time I was down Ernie took me out on a new GW 192. Showed me the boat and talked over the diff. options I could add. This size boat suits me on the style of fishing I do on Santee-Cooper. Your right, they do seem thorough on rigging and customer satisfaction. Good trait to have.
Good luck on your new to you boat from them, wish I was in SC instead of work here in KY. Work pays for my hobbies I guess.
Would like to talk to you later after you get the boat from them and your satisfaction level with Seel's. I'll shoot you a e-mail later.

Well Got the boat and Paper work done with Seal's Outboard Charleston SC. And I have to say That it was a pleasure to do biz with them. everybody was great. I they asked me when to schedule ten hour maintance, I told then I would be doing all maintance on these engines. So they gave me the oil and filters for First oil change. Guess this was for having to wait so long for them to install Engines(beyoud their control). But I think it was just because!!!!
My hat goes Off to them. And I Recommend Them To all that needs Marine Service and for that New Boat!!!!!!!!

Glad everything worked out well for you. Also glad to hear about Seel's and how they handled you. Enjoy your boat, wish I was on the water in SC.

GW, please give me your e-mail address. You can e-mail it to me at 2stretch@charter.net if you prefer. We only live about 60 miles apart and we need to compare notes on getting marine equipment serviced locally including Yamaha engines.
