Default Trailer "squeek"

How can I prevent (or minimize) the sqeeking from the leaf springs on my trailer?

LOL - pretty funny D-Dave.

I have a Magic-Tilt Alum I-beam and I have been getting a little squeaking also lately.. Are these things coming with Poly bushings by any chance? They (poly bushings) squeak like crazy!

I think I may plan a teardown and lube this fall when the temps go down. I have found that manufacturers never lube things the way you and I would...

Later,
Chris

My EZ Loader squeaked so bad my wife said she could here me coming home from a block away. While trying to get some grease in between the leafs, I found that the bolts holding the leafs to the shackeels had backed out almost 2 full turns even thought there were nylon insert lock nuts installed.

I installed longer bolts and lock washer along with the lock nuts.

It's squeaking again, so I need to check them bolts !

replace them with torsion bar axles. You will never ever regret it.
