Default 3300 Hydra-Sports

Did anyone get a chance to see Hydra-Sports new 3300 center console this past weekend at the Ft. Lauderdale show? I got the pleasure to sit on this beast for about an hour, and let me tell you what a boat. This has all of the right stuff in all of the right places. The 33's pump room is out of this world. Also the triple bolsters, 10'4 beam, and length of 33'6". And for desert triple 225 Yamaha 4 strokes spitting out speeds in the high 50's.. I do believe Hydra-Sports has hit a homerun on this one !!!!

I got a chance to test drive it in Charleston this summer. I have been fishing a 2796 and thought that was sweet, This one was a beast! Words won't describe it, but a test ride will convince you.

Got on this boat at the Boston show. Then it was shipped to Florida for your show. This boat is a beast. I looked all over her for over an hour. The fit and finish was excellent. I loved the triple seat leaning post. I think the boat had 10 rocket launchers. The bathroom cna house a small family for a week. The trim tabs were steel and looked real HD. The upgrades were everywhere. Two live wells and all fish boxes have macerators. And the price wasn't that bad for a boat that big. 115K for twin 250' 130K for trips That price was pretty good from what I hear. My H/S dealer sold one at the show. I look forward to seeing that boat on the water

I heard there is about 10 units out there now in the field, has anyone seen it sitting in the water or in action. Heard anything from the consumer standpoint? How does the optional hull colors look on it. I think the hull color option is new for Hydra-Sports this year, with the fighting lady yellow, sea foam green and the palm beach blue? I do believe the boat only has one bait well not two, and that is behind the bolsters. It set up very nice with a 55 gal lighted bait well, prep/rigging station, and all of kinds of storage. the bait well exit flow is even adjustable to match any kind of water condition. To comment on the fish boxes, I do not believe they have masorators pumps in them. I do belive they drain over board without pumps. Talk about standard features with trips you recieve Kiekhaefer controls standard. also the Kiekhaefer racing trim tabs are standard, along with T-Top, "frigid rigid" front cooler seat, and a 20+ gallon freash water tank.. I think the only options on the boat are the taco outriggers, china head and windless for the most part.
Does anybody know the speeds with triple Evinrude 250s. I bet its got to be in the high 60's. thoes motors are animals..

I saw the Yellow with triple Yami-Max's on Long Island at the boat show. List price was about 155k willing to sell it at just under 130k. Definately a nice ride. Everything looks to be in place, Every comaprtment finished with gell coat inc. the bildge. Plenty O' room....

Got to love the Yami-Max's in tuxedo black....

Bout time merc saw the light....

Saw one of the first ones in Casey Key, FL. Yellow hull with THREE HPDI 250s. Don't know how it rides but it looked great at slow speeds.

Is that a 10" radar GPS screen?

Looks too big for my 2800WA panel? Anyone know?

The 3300 dash is made for 10" electronics according to the dealer in Florida. I talked w/ Thunder Marine in Sarasota and they actualy have a white 3300 w/ twin z250 yamahas. It even looks bigger outside tham it did in the show at Ft. Lauderdale.

by the way see those drains - they're about 3 inches lower on the 2800WA which is right at the waterline when loaded - maybe they listened to us and learned something!

I've been told you can get a slight backwash on to deck in rough seas when backing down (havent noticed this myself), and it just seems safer to have them above the waterline at all times in case some hose popped off or something. Seat Cooler drain will not work at dock cause of the long drain hose distance to the outlet. Everything always worked ok underway.

Not a big problem for me.

Bmboozle THAT is an improvement over the 2800. My biggest and really only outstanding bitch with the 2800 is the difficult accessibility of the seacocks and pumps. You gotta be Houdini to winterize the thing - but actually it wasn't too bad this year (second time around) The baitwell pump and seacock are the worse. Rawater washdown is easy and air conditioning not bad if you're real wirey.
