Robertson virtual rudder feedback autopilot

Has anyone installed or used the Robertson autopilot with the virtual rudder feedback? It eliminates the need for connecting a rudder feedback on the steering. It's meant especially for outboards and I.O.'s. From what I've read the computer has a set of algorithms in its processor that identifies the position of the outboard. I'm thinking of getting it because I don't like the idea of having the rudder feedback in the stern where it can get wet and cause problems.

I use Simrad AC-20 computer, AP16 display and RPU80 pump with virtual feedback on a Jupiter 38 with triples. I've only had it for a few months, but it works great. Also I have put thousands of miles on big boats with Robertson's with no problems. It's a great company IMO
