Darn good amount of info on the boat in this thread. Even honest opinions from a dealer about the possible compromises of the boat. TG_190, I hope you consider at least getting a quote from Boatdood should you decide on purchasing one....

Hitman from a search on-line, it looks as if it would be low 30's for a 200hp before beating on a dealer...

Im new to this forum and do not know much about boats. TG-190 Im also looking at the sailfish 236. boatdood or fairgame would you guys know how strong the transom is as far as supporting the engine. Any stories of defects in the hull such as spider lines or cracking in the area of the transom where the engine mounts. How well is the leaning post console mounted to the deck? Will it rip out of the deck after a couple of years of use. Or is it too early in the boats history to tell?

I saw the 236 and 266 at the Raleigh boat a couple of years ago when they first came out. I saw the the 238 for the first time this past weekend at the Charleston boat show. That a great looking boat. Fit and finish was much better than the first one I saw. This 238 was rigged with twin 150 Yamaha 4-strokes, had a great looking t-top, huge live-well, nice leaning post, etc. I must saw that I was impressed. As rigged with tandem axle aluminum trailer, the boat show price was $60K. I thought it was great price for the package.
