Winds and surf have been pretty bad last couple of weekends. Weather report said the ocean was supposed to lay down today but obviously that didn't happen. At least it's warm, I don't get too much sympathy from my family in Virginia!

Yup, a really strange winter so far.
The salt spray on my eastward facing windows gets so thick I'm washing them every day.
Good news is the forecast gets a little better later in the week.
Wind going NW, need to get my first sail of the season!!
I agree, it seemed as if every weekend was a blow, Monday morn calm as hell like clockwork. If I had weekdays off the weekends would be great...should buy a sailboat so I'm hedged

i headed out today in the noaa "2 or less", 1 sail, but wow was it rough. Got hit by a couple surprise offshore breakers in the 8 foot range and one roller that had to be 10 feet,it lifted me up and slammed me while trolling. Mostly steep 4-5 footers. Had a sick fisherman aboard and headed in.
