Default what my whaler is worth

I have a 1984 montauk with a 1991 90 yamaha. the rig is in show room condition and the dealer said it would bring around $10,000. I want to know what other boats around the same year have sold for and if there is any type of collectors for boston whaler boats

Go the www.Boattraderonline.com and search for your rig you should get a good idea the selling price of like rig's ....But to be honest the motor alone is worth maybe 500.00 on the open market .... I know that's not what you would like to hear but it's still 13 years old and 13 years is 13 years....Wish you luck ...John

Go to continouswave.com and look in the "Marketplace". I had a 1984 Montauk with a 1990 Merc 100 and good trailer. Bought it about 12 years ago for $7,500, sold it about 6 years ago for $7,500 and the current owners said he would let me have it back (new trailer) for $7,500. If its mint you could get a bit more than that HMHO.

Default what my whaler is worth

My father just bought a 91 montauk with a 91 johnson for 8000. While it was not showroom, it was in great shape, no bottom paint. gps ff. great trailer with new tires.
Good quality cover, and all kinds of extras three props + MinnKota bow mounted motor.

10,000 sounds high to me, but the truth is there are folks out there who will pay that for a pristine whaler.
