 going optimax ,whats my 225 ocean pro worth ?
I just bought this boat in july and the engine is great , I
I talked to the shop that just replaced the power head about 50 hours befor i got the boat to conferm his claim on the over haul and i have recipts
i have put about 80 hours on it , It runs perfect i always run sea foam every tank and i decarbed it when i got it just because ,
the engine is a 1997 225 ocean pro
IT gets flushed every time .
I pull the cowel and wipe down power head with wd 40 and a rag after every use
I have changed the lower unit oil ,
It gets used in the winter months so gas does not stay in it to long
i installed new zincs just because , the old ones are still fine
Thre are 2 stainless props for it and 1 alum
I dont need the controls they come with , itsinsured for 5k
Is on my boat now so a water test is avaialbe for serious buyers , ramp is only 10 min away
I will decarb again when i hit 100 hours of my use
i installed a new cowel gasket on all used engines i buy
I cruse at 4200-4600 rpm dependimg on chop
whats a fair price for this thing ? |
